More platforms are possible in the future, depending on funding.
The response to Double Fine's Kickstarter campaign surprised everyone involved - especially company head Tim Schafer. Thanks to the $1.8 million that has been pledged to the project so far, the company has announced that they'll be able to put the game on PC, Mac, Linux, iOS devices and certain Android phones.
The beta version of the game will only be available to backers, which is leading Double Fine to launch the title on Steam initially. Once the game comes out fully, there will be a DRM free version available.
Schafer says that more features and platforms could happen, but hasn't specified just what those would be and what it would take to make them happen.
