Though it's probably not a great idea to use the new fire-based specialist in the new forest map.
Treyarch has pulled back the curtains on a new specialist and a new multiplayer map for 'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' in a half-hour live stream.
The Firebreak is the game's ninth and final specialist reveal. As the name implies, Firebreak's special weapon is a flamethrower ominously named "The Purifier." This weapon allows Firebreak to revel in close-range situations with impressive room-clear potential. Firebreak players might want to stick to indoor areas.
Firebreak's special ability is called Heatwave. Casting heatwave stuns opposing players in a close range and damage their equipment, giving Firebreak the ability to burst into a room and clear it out effectively even without The Purifier.
The new Redwood map is set in the redwood forests of California. It centers on a military base surrounded by dense towering trees. According to the developers, players who have mastered the game's movement system will excel in Redwood, being able to take advantage of flanking routes by chaining together wall runs.
