The latest from Onkyo sport 3D compatibility and 4K upscaling - how much more future-proof can you get?
Onyko's new receivers , which will be commercially available this month, offer quite a bit of functionality and some future-proofing to boot. Both the HT-RC360 and HT-RC370 come equipped with the Marvell Qdeo 4K upscaling processor, giving you a little room to breathe when you finally upgrade to a 4K display.
Of course, Onkyo packed in plenty of things that will prove useful now too. Both receivers boast Wide Range Amplifier Technology, 3D capability and plenty of HDMI inputs. They're also network capable, and can stream audio from your PC or from online sources like Pandora.
While both are capable receivers, the RC370 goes above and beyond by offering three-stage Darlington circuitry and, on the software side, Audyssey MultEQ XT. It's also THX Select2 Plus certified.
The HT-RC360 will be available at a price of $549, while the RC370 comes in at $849.
