Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will bring one of the summer's biggest blockbusters to Blu-ray, with the release of 'Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby' this holiday season.
Due in stores day-and-date with the DVD release on December 12, the $125 million-grossing Will Ferrell smash will feature a new Unrated version featuring footage too racy for the theatrical release.
Tech specs include a 2.40:1 widescreen transfer in 1080p/MPEG-2 video, plus an uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround track.
Supplemental details have yet to be announced, but Sony has set a $38.95 for the Blu-ray release.
Watch for full specs in the coming days, and in the meantime we've added a listing for the disc to our Blu-ray Release Schedule.
