The 1952 biopic of composer John Philip Sousa is slated for Blu-ray in December.
In an early announcement to retailers, 20th Century Fox is preparing 'Stars and Stripes Forever' for Blu-ray on December 13.
The film directed by Henry Koster stars Clifton Webb ('Laura') as the world renowned conductor of the United States Marine Corps Marching Band and creator of the "Stars and Stripes Forever" march. Ruth Hussey, Finlay Currie, and Robert Wagner co-star.
Specs have yet to be finalized, but supplements for the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack will include: From Our National March to the Silver Screen; John Philip Sousa's Contribution to American Music; Pressbook, advertising, and still galleries; and the original theatrical trailer.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
