Making good on their promise to release titles in both high-def formats, HD DVD backer Warner Home Video this morning announced that they will release their first wave of four Blu-ray titles later this summer.

Arriving in stores August 1, Warner will release the recent theatrical titles 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' and 'Rumor Has It...' along with the catalog hits 'Training Day' and the Oscar-nominated 'Good Night, and Good Luck.'

With the exception of 'Good Night, and Good Luck,' all of Warner's first Blu-ray releases have also been released on HD DVD.

Full technical specs and supplemental details have not yet been released, but are expected in the coming days.

Warner has set a $34.95 suggested retail price for 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' and 'Rumor Has It...' and a $28.99 SRP for 'Training Day' and 'Good Night, and Good Luck.' The pricing is consistent with Warner's HD DVD releases.
