If you're a writer with experience penning daily news blurbs, feature articles and/or technically-focused Blu-ray disc reviews, we'd like to talk with you about joining our team as a freelance writer. A working knowledge and passion for next-gen video is a must, as is the ability to work on deadline.

Job-specific details follow below:

News and Features Editor
In this role, you will contribute to our news sections, writing short articles with a strict focus on the two next-gen DVD formats. Articles will be a mix of original reporting and more "blog-style" reports based on published articles elsewhere. This role also includes the opportunuity to contribute longer feature articles in this role, based on original reporting.

Disc Reviewer
In this role, you will review new and upcoming discs released on Blu-ray disc. Our reviews place special emphasis on video and audio quality, so qualified candidates must demonstrate a keen eye (and ear) for the technical aspects of high definition discs. Candidates must also own all necessary equipment to accurately review discs.

All freelance writers for High-Def Digest are paid per published article or review, and must agree to a strict set of editorial guidelines.
