Hollywood’s tragedy train keeps chugging along. The film community has suffered another unexpected loss this week with the passing of actor Michael Clarke Duncan on Monday morning. He was 54-years-old.
The actor will of course be best remembered for his role as prisoner John Coffey in ‘The Green Mile‘, which earned him an Academy Award nomination. He also had notable parts in ‘Armageddon‘ and as the villain Kingpin in ‘Daredevil‘. His deep voice made a perfect fit for voiceover work in many animated TV series, videogames, and in movies such as ‘Kung Fu Panda‘ and ‘Green Lantern‘. Most recently, he had a supporting role in the short-lived Fox series ‘The Finder’.
Duncan had been hospitalized since July after suffering a heart attack.

Are we supposed to be limited to only one choice?
Josh Zyber
AuthorNo, sorry about that. It’s fixed now. I can correct the vote count if necessary. Just tell me what you wanted to vote for but couldn’t.

I also liked his small role in The Island.
