When the Oscar nomination announcements came out last week, there weren’t too many surprises. Most of the nominations were easily predictable, so there really wasn’t all that much to talk about. Well, that’s all changed with some wonderful little videos made by AOL featuring cute, young kids recreating some of the Best Picture nominees in 30 seconds each.

There are so many great moments here that it’s hard to pick a favorite. I’m thinking that “This is gonna be gross” could be a perfect tagline for ‘127 Hours’. I also love the “unintelligible Boston accents” part of ‘The Fighter’.

Man I’d love to see them do the other noms like ‘Inception’ and ‘True Grit.’ Imagine some kid mumbling like a drunk. Comedic gold.
