Like many of you out there, The Bonus View will be taking a long weekend for the holiday. The blog will be closed for business on both Friday, December 23rd and Monday the 26th. Join us back here on Tuesday, and we’ll get back into the swing of things with a fun new contest for some free Blu-ray goodies. We know how much you like those. In fact, as a special bonus for the handful of you hanging around over the weekend, we’re holding a pre-contest contest. Read on after the page break for the exceedingly easy details on how you can win a Blu-ray early.
It’s really simple. The first person who can guess the title of the disc we’ll be giving away next week will win a copy of it in advance! All you have to do is name the movie in the Comments to this post. You get three guesses. That’s all. The winner will also be subject to the usual contest rules (no employees of Internet Brands or family members, no one who’s won a contest here within the past year, etc.). The only hint you get is that it’s a Blu-ray released in the month of December this year. (By my count, that’s just shy of 100 possible titles.) We’ll announce the title on Tuesday, so you have until the end of day Monday to get your guesses in.
In the meantime, have a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, a Joyous Kwanzaa, all of the above, or just a quiet long weekend, depending on what you celebrate. See you next week!

Jared, you might as well post three more guesses, since all three of yours have already been guessed. The rules clearly state the “first person” to guess…not a random pick from those who guess correctly. 🙂

So I guess it was Kung-Fu Panda 2? “Random Commenter” guessed that first.
