The 2013 Central Canada Pop Culture Expo (formerly the Winnipeg Comic & Toy Expo) launches in early April, and this year spotlights a classic TV show by welcoming a trio of bat-tastic special guests!
The event will take place on April 6th and 7th (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM). Headlining the celebrities guest list are three (still alive) fan favorites from the classic 1960s ‘Batman’ TV series: Adam West (Batman/Bruce Wayne), Burt Ward (Robin/Dick Grayson) and Yvonne Craig (Batgirl/Barbara Gordon)!
Does it make me a super geek to admit that I’ve already printed out a glossy 8×10 featuring all three costumed heroes to have signed when I go?
Sadly, Burt Ward’s stunt double doesn’t seem to be attending. Remember him? You could always tell when he appeared in any action scene. Robin’s honker suddenly became enormous, then went back to its original size after the fight was over. He was like the Pinocchio of Gotham City.
Anyway, tickets for the Central Canada Pop Culture Expo will be available exclusively through Ticketmaster.
