Yes, we’re doing it again. Join us this Sunday, February 26th for The Bonus View‘s second annual Oscars Live-Blog! With last-minute replacement Billy Crystal hosting for the 74th time, not to mention a huge assortment of behind-the-scenes fiascoes with the production, the ceremony itself promises to be yet another overlong, self-important and generally boring slog, if not an outright clusterfrack. As threatened, High-Def Digest‘s 2nd Annual Golden Globes Live-Blog commences this Sunday evening, January 15th. The ceremony begins at 8 PM EST on NBC. We’ll start blogging with the pre-show special at 7 PM. There will be many contests for free Blu-ray goodies. Don’t miss out. We had a lot of fun doing this last year. While the Golden Globe Awards themselves are utterly ridiculous and meaningless, the ceremony has a light atmosphere, it usually runs on schedule, and the celebrities in the audience are encouraged to drink. And Ricky Gervais is hosting again, which promises to be hilarious. Join us here for an entertaining evening and plenty of opportunities to win free Blu-ray discs. See you then!

Consider this your fair warning. When the Golden Globe Awards air this Sunday, January 15th at 8 PM EST on NBC, The Bonus View will live-blog the event with contests where you can win free Blu-ray goodies. Even if you’ve won any of our other contests within the past year, the normal rules that would prohibit you from winning again will be set aside. While no one takes the Golden Globes seriously as an awards ceremony, the telecast itself is usually a good time. I totally forgot that the Golden Globe Awards are this weekend! Mrs. Z has talked me into attempting a live-blog of the event.
