Julian De Backer's Bio:

Julian De Backer (°1984) wishes to one day sojourn in a world where 'Back to the Future' and 'The Goonies' are an everyday staple on television or on the silver screen. A place with Bruce Springsteen serving as the background soundtrack, DeLoreans parked on every street and Almdudler available in every corner drugstore. Until that day, he tries to create his own utopia with cartoons, reviews, texts, interviews, acting gigs and poems. Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis, Jozef Van Hove and Shigeru Miyamoto are absolute heroes. 'You Are The Pan' by John Williams never fails to bring tears to his eyes. Julian started gaming in 1992 with the monochrome Game Boy, and has since considered himself to be a Nintendo fan. The boys from Kyoto, Japan made him leap for joy with their slate of consoles and handhelds. Special mention for the criminally underrated Game Boy Micro. Never the Nintendo fanboy, Julian has found major appreciation for the Sega MegaDrive (Genesis), the Dreamcast, the Xbox 360, the Neo Geo Gold X and the PlayStation 4. His wild dream of a new beginning is to one day draw a real calicot or poster for a real Hollywood movie, just like the masterful Drew Struzan did in the good old days. Julian is a Belgian, but don't hold that against him.
